1. How Weekown Works: Layaway

Weekown is a layaway store. When you order an item, you pay for it over time on a weekly payment plan. Your item ships only after it is paid in full. Nothing ships early, and nothing ships before the final payment clears — no exceptions.

2. Payment Plans

We offer 13-week, 26-week, 39-week, and 52-week plans. You choose your plan length at checkout. You can make extra one-time payments toward your balance at any time to pay your item off faster. Payments are processed securely through our payment-plan provider.

Every product page shows the weekly payment for each plan length so you know exactly what you’re signing up for before you order.

3. Ownership

You own your item once your final payment clears. Until then, your payments are held against your order balance.

4. Fulfillment & Shipping

After your plan is paid in full, your item ships directly from our supplier to the shipping address on your order. Shipping is free on all U.S. orders. Most items ship within 3–7 business days after the final payment, and you’ll receive tracking information by email. See our Shipping Policy for details.

5. Comparable Substitutions

If the exact item you ordered cannot be sourced after your plan is paid off, we may fulfill your order with a comparable item of equal or greater value and specifications. Our prices are set with room to re-source fairly if a supplier sells out, so you will never receive less than what you paid for.

6. Product Condition

Items are sold exactly as described on their product page. Certified refurbished means certified refurbished — we never sell a refurbished or open-box item as new. Any warranty included with your item is stated on its product page.

7. Cancellation & Refunds

You may cancel your layaway plan at any time before your item ships. All refunds are issued as Weekown store credit only — no cash refunds. Our Refund Policy explains how cancellations and returns work.

8. Pricing & Taxes

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

9. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use this store for any fraudulent purpose, including payment fraud, false chargebacks, or misrepresenting your identity. We reserve the right to cancel orders and plans that violate these terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Weekown’s liability for any claim arising from your purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time of your order applies to that order. If you have questions, contact us before ordering.
