How It Works

Weekown's little dog mascot, one paw raised in a friendly wave

How It Works

Pay weekly, own it. No credit card debt. No fine-print surprises.

1 Pick your item

Choose the TV, console, appliance, or gadget you want. You see the full price up front and exactly what your weekly payment will be.

2 Pay a little each week

Your weekly payment comes out automatically. Watch your progress in your dashboard. Every dollar goes straight toward your item.

Want to get there faster? Pay it off early any time — there is no penalty for finishing early.

3 Pause anytime — no pressure

Life happens. If money gets tight, you can pause your payments whenever you need to. No phone calls, no guilt trip. Just a tap in your dashboard.

We call this the PAWS Promise. Here is what it means:

🐾 The PAWS Promise

We don't want you to feel trapped.

  • Pause anytime, up to 21 days at a time — right from your dashboard. Give us a couple of days and we'll pause your payment (a debit already on its way can't be stopped the same day).
  • Keep 100% of every dollar you've paid. Everything is credited to your item. Nothing is forfeited. Your price stays locked, and you pick up exactly where you left off.
  • Your streak freezes — it never breaks. Pausing doesn't reset your payment streak. When you come back, you're right where you were.

That is the whole promise. Caps and details live in the layaway agreement — attorney-reviewed, no surprises.

4 Pay it off

When your balance hits zero, you own it. Your item ships straight to your door — the moment the plan is paid in full.

Nothing ships before it's 100% paid — that is how layaway keeps everything simple and honest.

5 Earn Bones along the way 🦴

Weekown rewards loyalty with Bones — our points currency. You earn Bones for paying on time, hitting streaks, referring friends, and more. The longer you stick with us, the more Bones you earn.

See the FAQ for the full rundown on Bones.

No credit check. No interest. No late fees hidden anywhere. It's layaway — you pay before you own, so there's nothing to be trapped by.
